FCG Full Composition

FCG Full Composition Granules offer a radical new approach to the formulation and production of herbal granules with an effectiveness equivalent to that achieved by herbal formulas prescribed and decocted in the traditional way. They are the outcome of more than a decade of intensive research, development and clinical trials, conducted with the aim of determining the cooking methods most appropriate for retention of all the ingredients of each herb. The application of patented production technology and advanced quality control methods (including infrared fingerprint spectrum techniques) makes these granules the optimum response to modern demands for effective and convenient herbal solutions.

FCG granules are produced from high-grade authentic (dao di) raw herb sources using an innovative full composition industrial process that combines traditional herb processing methods with the most advanced granule extraction, concentration and drying techniques, thereby ensuring that all decoction ingredients are transferred to FCGs while achieving greater levels of stability and clinical effectiveness.

Taking traditional herbal formula decoctions as their benchmark for comparison, Tcmages has developed a variety of production techniques for individual Chinese materia medica on the basis of the inherent characteristics of these substances. It is the first manufacturer to offer an effective and reliable solution to the problem of granule equivalence by establishing an appropriate equivalence factor for each materia medica in its product range.

It has also identified the most appropriate way for each materia medica to be cooked, either individually or together, so as to ensure that its granule extract is equivalent in effect to that when used in a combined decoction. Each granule has also been tested hundreds of times through numerous clinical trials on patients, offering a clear demonstration of product safety and efficacy. The company has a standing commitment to continuing studies into the maintenance of quality standards and the ongoing improvement of production technology.

The vast majority of FCG granules contain no accessory materials. For those that do (mainly minerals or other products requiring excipients to maintain granule fluidity, accuracy of packaging volume and granule humidity resistance), the amount of accessory materials added is less than 30%.
